Sponsor of the Guttmann Titan Desert Challenge

We are extremely pleased to be able to contribute to the Guttmann Institute's challenge in this edition of the Titan Desert.

The Institut Guttmann is a hospital specializing in the neurorehabilitation of people affected by spinal cord injuries, acquired brain damage, or other neurological disabilities.

The Titan Desert is an extreme mountain biking competition. It takes place over six consecutive days in the Moroccan desert, and participants face physical and emotional exhaustion at each stage.

And Dr. Álex del Arco came up with the idea of combining the two to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Guttmann and the 20th anniversary of the Titan. Crazy!

The challenge will involve participating in this year's edition with two teams, each with a former spinal cord injury patient and another with a brain injury. The former will participate on an e-handbike, and the latter on a standard mountain bike. They will also have Guttmann's support team: four physiotherapists or nurses, who will accompany them on their bikes throughout the race. The project's driving force will also participate in the race as coordinator.

The goal is to complete it, but above all, to learn to excel, to work as a team, and to demonstrate the importance of sport in rehabilitation and inclusion.

We get goosebumps every time we think about our team pedaling through the desert.
